Seminar on Investing in Latin America and the Caribbean successfully held in Wuhan

Last June 29, 2021, the Seminar “Investing in Latin America and the Caribbean” and the Briefing on China-Latin American and Caribbean Business Summit was successfully held in Wuhan, Hubei Province.

Hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and organized by the China Chamber of International Commerce (“CCIC”) and CCPIT-Wuhan Sub-council, the Seminar was attended by diplomats, government officials, leading companies and business organizations from China, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Haiti, Ecuador and Trinidad & Tobago.

The Mexican Chamber of Commerce in China (“MEXCHAM”) was represented by its Vice President Victor Cadena, who addressed a presentation about the business opportunities for trade and investments between both countries.

In addition, Santiago Toledo, Commercial Counselor from the Mexican Embassy in China, explained about the multiples advantages that Mexico provides for Chinese and overseas companies across different industries.

During the Seminar, MEXCHAM and CCPIT-Wuhan Sub-council signed and strategic MOU for promoting trade and investments between Mexico and Wuhan.

MEXCHAM continues building bridges between China and Latin America.
