Last June 28, 2019, the 11th Belt and Road Eco-Agriculture and Food Safety Forum was held in Kunming, Yunan Province.
The Forum was opened by remarks from Dong Hua, Vice Governor of People’s Government of Yunnan Province, followed by Chen Yuan, Vice-Chairman, the 12th CPPCC National Committee, Song Jingwu, Vice President, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Wang Tiehan, Chief Food Safety Officer, State Administration for Market Regulation.
During the panel discussion, “Agriculture and Food Safety Cooperation Along the Belt & Road”, Victor Cadena, Exc. Vice President of the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in China (MEXCHAM) expressed the overview of Mexican agricultural products in China as well as the challenges and opportunities for trading food related products between Latin America and China.
MEXCHAM continues building bridges between Mexico and China.
