On July 17, 2026, Taiwanese technology enterprise Inventec announced a major investment plan in Mexico. The company will invest 450 million US dollars in local intelligent manufacturing layout, focusing on the R&D and production of servers, data center solutions and artificial intelligence infrastructure to boost the upgrading of Mexico’s high-end digital manufacturing industry.

Major investment expected to create over 6,000 local jobs

This investment stands as one of the most influential foreign capital projects in Mexico’s artificial intelligence manufacturing sector in recent years. The project will generate more than 6,000 high-quality local jobs and expand Mexico’s high-end tech manufacturing capacity to meet the surging global demand for computing power and AI hardware.

Settles in high-end industrial park to build North American intelligent manufacturing base

Inventec chooses HubsPark Juárez in Ciudad Juárez as its core expansion base and has acquired the first two phases of the industrial park. Built for high-tech manufacturing, the park supports high power consumption and standardized production requirements, laying a solid foundation for Inventec’s in-depth layout in North America.

Adapts to high computing demands to support global AI industry growth

With the new manufacturing base, Inventec will greatly expand the production capacity of high-end servers and data center equipment. The project caters to the global AI industrial boom, fills the capacity gap of high-end computing hardware in North America, and strengthens Mexico’s position in the global digital infrastructure supply chain.

Consolidates geographical advantages to build Mexico’s core tech manufacturing hub

Inventec’s investment further consolidates Ciudad Juárez as a high-end export manufacturing hub in northern Mexico. It drives local industrial transformation toward digital and high-value-added technology sectors and attracts more global investment in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.

Leads overseas high-end manufacturing with solid technological strength

As a world-leading manufacturer specializing in servers and AI infrastructure equipment, Inventec owns mature mass-production and technological iteration capabilities. Its layout in Mexico marks a key step of its global supply chain and nearshoring development strategy.

Empowers bilateral industrial cooperation and vitalizes Latin American digital economy

This large-scale tech investment deepens high-end manufacturing and digital industrial cooperation between China and Mexico. It connects advanced Asian AI hardware technology and production capacity with the North American market, driving the long-term digital economic transformation of Mexico and the scaled development of Latin American AI industries.
