Recently, the 300mm×2500mm slab continuous casting project, contracted by Baosteel Engineering for Grupo Acerero (GASA), has successfully passed its hot commissioning at one go. Located in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, this four-year major project represents a significant milestone. The successful hot testing marks the ongoing globalization of China’s independent core technology and complete process equipment for continuous casting production lines, powerfully demonstrating the influence and competitiveness of the China Baowu brand in the international market.

Launched in 2021, the team overcame multiple challenges over four years:

Cross-Border Collaboration: Formed bilingual teams with staggered shifts and digital/BIM design for seamless cross-regional coordination. Quality Control: Implemented rigorous quality control to ensure flawless delivery of core equipment. On-Site Service: Since November 2024, dispatched core technicians for one-year on-site support with 24/7 response commitment.
