“I am grateful for the trust and opportunity given to Wuhan Three Towns. I came here with respect, commitment, and ambition,” Mora said after ending his tenure as coach of Gallos. Gallos is one of the most humble teams in professional football, yet he still led the team to 40 points throughout the year.
Although there is still no relegation spot in the league, Mora has successfully prevented Queretaro from paying a fine due to their position in the standings and has almost secured a place in the play-offs for the 2025 autumn league. He previously managed Atlas FC.
During his time playing for Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club in Malaysia, the Mexican player won 11 trophies, including 5 local Super League titles, 4 Malaysian Charity Shield titles, 1 National Cup title, and 1 National FA Cup title.
Now, not far from there, he will take over as head coach of the Wuhan Three Towns Football Club, a team that competes in the top tier of Chinese football and won the league title for the first time in 2022.
MEXCHAM congratulates Benjamin Mora and wishes him all the best as the new head coach of Wuhan Three Towns Football Club.
