Since launching operations in late 2023, BYD has steadily expanded its retail footprint, currently operating more than 80 showrooms across strategic states, with plans to surpass 100 retail locations by the end of 2025. “We have a robust team supporting after-sales service, test drives, and experiential events that allow us to connect directly with potential clients,” Vallejo added.
BYD has introduced several key models to the Mexican market, including the BYD Song Plus, BYD King, BYD Dolphin Mini, and most recently, the M9 minivan. Each of these vehicles consistently achieves monthly sales exceeding 1,500 units. Vallejo emphasized the company’s strategy to integrate technology and innovation: “We have built a strong distribution network and developed expert advisory services to bring our hybrid and electric mobility solutions closer to consumers.”
The automaker has implemented competitive pricing and financing strategies to broaden its customer base. Select models offer interest rates as low as 7.88%, supported by more than 800 training sessions for sales personnel and over 100,000 pre-sale interactions nationwide during weekend promotional events.
