
As a key event of the 2026 China International New Energy Vehicle Technology, Parts and Services Exhibition (CINEVE 2026), the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in China (MEXCHAM) jointly host the China-Mexico Business Cooperation Forum with the Mexican Embassy in China on March 13, 2026. The forum aims to build a practical exchange platform for Chinese and Mexican enterprises, focusing on issues such as market access, investment planning, industrial cooperation, regulatory frameworks, operational practices, and cooperation opportunities, in order to promote more systematic and sustainable bilateral cooperation.
The meeting commenced with Mr. Hai Lu, Director of Public Affairs at MEXCHAM, delivering the welcome remarks.

Mr. Francisco Antonio, Deputy Trade and Investment Commissioner at the Mexican Embassy in China, delivered the presentation of the strategic opportunities for Chinese enterprises to invest in Mexico.

Mr. Victor Cadena, Executive Vice President of MEXCHAM, shared the outlook on the Mexican automotive industry and the business opportunity between Mexico and China.

Following the opening remarks, representatives from member companies of MEXCHAM operating in both China and Mexico held two rounds of panel discussion.
The first panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Julie Song, Business Manager of MEXCHAM, and was attended by Ms. Elly Liu from Nemak, Mr. Tony Meng from XPD Global, Ms. Sky Shen from Asia IBS, and Mr. Aaron Liu from Terra Regia.

The second panel discussion was moderated by Mr. Hai Lu, Director of Public Affairs of MEXCHAM, and was attended by Ms. Caro Chen from Cortez Berlanga, Mr. Chao Wang from SPL Global, Mr. Michal Zhang from QIMA, Mr. Yucheng Xin from Orcamar Strategies, and Mr. Adrian Wang from Hofusan Industrial Park.

As part of a series of meetings, the China-Mexico Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum aims to become a long-term platform for dialogue, partnership building, and sustainable bilateral cooperation, consistent with the broader framework of China-Mexico economic and trade relations.
