Recently, Daye Shares stated in its latest response that the company’s Mexico factory has currently deployed core component manufacturing processes such as stamping, welding, painting, injection molding, and pipe bending, as well as a localized supply chain, and has entered the trial operation phase. It is reported that Daye Shares established a wholly-owned subsidiary “Daye Mexico Sociedad Anonima de Capital Variable” in August 2022, officially launching the construction of its Mexico production base.
Factory Construction
By 2023, according to the company’s annual report, the Mexico production base covers an area of about 383 mu (equivalent to approximately 25.53 hectares), and the first-phase workshop with an area of 52,600 square meters has been basically completed.
The 2024 annual report mentioned that the subsequent phased production of this factory will improve customer delivery efficiency, shorten the product delivery time to North American customers, and reduce ocean shipping costs.
Production Status
In February 2025, the first phase of the Mexico factory was officially put into production, with a planned annual production capacity of 800,000 garden machinery products.
However, the actual operation progress was slower than expected. On May 15, 2025, the company announced that the Mexico production base was still in the trial operation phase and had not achieved product sales revenue in the first quarter of 2025.
Project Delay
On May 21, 2025, Daye Shares held a board of directors and a supervisory board meeting, where it reviewed and approved a proposal to extend the time for the “Annual 60,000 Ride-on Lawn Mower Production Project” to reach its planned usable state from the original August 31, 2025 to August 31, 2027.
The company added Daye Mexico as the co-implementing entity of this project and included Mexico as an additional implementation location.
Latest Progress
As of September 5, 2025, the company stated that the Mexico factory has deployed core component manufacturing processes including stamping, welding, painting, injection molding, and pipe bending, as well as a localized supply chain, and is still in the trial operation phase.
As an important measure for the company to respond to changes in the international trade environment and deepen its global layout, the final effectiveness of this factory remains to be observed continuously.
