Since the 2025 edition of El Buen Fin will span five days, one day longer than its usual duration, this is expected to encourage greater consumer participation and lead to a predicted 30% growth in product transport volume toward the end of the year.
DHL executives also expect that the arrival of Black Friday, Cyber Monday, the Christmas season, and Día de los Reyes Magos (Three Kings’ Day) will extend the Peak Season until Jan. 15.
According to the AMVO, the El Buen Fin has traditionally boosted sales primarily in physical channels, but e-commerce remains a fundamental component of its success. Projections indicate that six out of 10 consumers plan their purchases in advance of the discount events and 33% of Mexicans plan to shop during El Buen Fin, knowing exactly what they intend to purchase, in contrast to the 62% who stated they could be persuaded to buy during Black Friday with a good discount.
