On September 25-26th, 2025, witnessed by tour operators, specialized media and tourism enterprises, the first Mexican Tourism Tianguis was held in Beijing, China. The event is organized by the Mexican Embassy in China, the event also featured participation from seven provinces from Mexico (Baja California, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Chiapas, Guerrero, Nayarit and Mexico City), the Maya Railway and the Maya Group.
Mexico’s Tourism Minister Josefina Rodríguez, Mexican Ambassador to China Jesús Seade, and Patricia Quiles, Director General of Tourism Diplomacy and Connectivity at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, jointly presided over the opening ceremony.
