Last July 20, 2025 the forum “Democracy in Judicial Trial and Development Trend of Chinese Judicial System” was held in Mexico City.

The Forum included presentations from Dr. Luis Martínez, President of the National Institute of Public Management (INAP), Dr. Arturo Oropeza, President of INADI, Dr. Mo Jihong Director of Institute of Law at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), XU CHI, Deputy Director of the Law Library, Associate Professor of Institute of Law (CASS) among others

On behalf of MEXCHAM, its Executve President President Efrén Calvo attended the forum remarking the close relation between China and Mexico, being China the 2nd largest trading partner of Mexico worldwide and being Mexico the 2nd largest trading partner of China in Latin America, with a bilateral trade of about USD 130 Billion. During his presentation, Efrén Calvo remarked that the newly appointed Ambassador of China to Mexico, Mr. Chen Daojiang, expressed that China should not be marginalized and therefore excluded from the bilateral dialogue with Mexico. He stated that China is ready to continue building a long-term relationships with all parties including Mexico. Mr. Calvo expressed MEXCHAM permanent goal is build long term win-win relationships, based on principles of reciprocity and muttual benefits.
