Intretech Opens Plant in Apodaca, Nuevo León

Intretech has inaugurated its first plant in Apodaca, Nuevo León, with an investment not exceeding 100 million US dollarsand projections of creating 1,500 to 2,000 formal jobs. The complex specializes in electronic manufacturing to boost value chains in the automotive, medical, energy, and consumer sectors.

The management of Intretech México, headed by Linden Lin, thanked the state and municipal governments for their support and indicated that the Apodaca facility will operate as a strategic hub for smart manufacturing and efficient services across the continent. The first phase of the project reinforces regional export capacity and connectivity with advanced electronics suppliers.

The Apodaca ecosystem offers infrastructure, talent, and supplier networks that reduce delivery times and logistics costs in North America. For local suppliers, the arrival of Intretech opens opportunities in electronic components, plastic injection molding, machining, assembly, and engineering services, with potential to raise wages and enable technology transfer.

For the region, the plant provides formal employment and linkages with SMEs that can certify quality, traceability, and USMCA compliance. Companies with capabilities in automation, molding, PCB, rework, and specialized packaging find a new anchor to diversify their portfolios and scale production.

Intretech’s entry reinforces Nuevo León’s position as the epicenter of nearshoring in Mexico and consolidates Apodaca as the state’s primary industrial engine. With the plant operational and future expansions, the northern border adds high-value-added electronic capacity, key to sustaining exports and regional productivity.
