On June 30, 2025, H.E. Chen Daojiang, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the United Mexican States, arrived in Mexico City to assume his duties. Officials from the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and senior diplomats from the Chinese Embassy in Mexico greeted him at the airport.
Ambassador Chen stated at the airport: “As comprehensive strategic partners, China and Mexico are good friends of mutual trust and partners in shared development. Under the strategic guidance of the Heads of State of both countries, China-Mexico relations have maintained healthy and stable development, yielding fruitful outcomes across all fields of cooperation. Serving as China’s Ambassador to Mexico is not only an honorable mission but also a profound responsibility. I will remain true to my original aspirations, work diligently, and strive to pave more pathways for exchanges, build stronger bridges for cooperation, and lay a more solid foundation for friendship between our peoples.”
Ambassador Chen Daojiang is the 17th Chinese Ambassador to Mexico.
