RECAP:Mexico-China Business Cooperation Conference

On the afternoon of February 21, 2025, the “Mexico-China Business Cooperation Conference,” jointly organized by the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in China (MEXCHAM) and the Embassy of Mexico in China was successfully held. This conference was one of the events during the 2025 China International New Energy Vehicle Technology, Parts and Services Exhibition (2025 CINEVE). More than 60 corporate representatives attended the conference.

This conference was hosted by Mr. Hai Lu, Director of Public Affairs of the MEXCHAM.

Mr. Santiago Toledo, the Commercial Counsellor from the Embassy of Mexico in China delivered the key note opening speech.

Mr. Victor Cadena, the Executive Vice President of MEXCHAM, gave a speech on the Outlook of Automotive Industry in Mexico.


Next, 10 representatives from MEXCHAM member companies were divided into two groups to discuss about bilateral trade and cross border servicess between China and Mexico in areas such as autoparts, industrial parks, logistics, HR, packing and trade opportunities among others.

Mr. David Trujillo, Deputy Trade and Investment Representative of the Mexican Embassy, moderated the first panel discussion with the participation of the following 5 company representatives.

At the end of the conference, all the participants gathered for a group photo.

This conference is aimed to provide an exchange platform for the participating enterprises, and to deepen their understanding of the cooperation potential between Mexican and Chinese enterprises in various fields including automobile industry through the discussion and sharing of the guests.

As a bridge connecting China and Mexico, MEXCHAM is commited to continue promoting connectivity between enterprises of both countries, seeking more innovative and cooperative opportunities to achieve mutually beneficial development goals.
