Chinese citizen applying for a Mexican Visa

For Chinese citizen planning to visit Mexico, there may be alternative documents that allow you to enter Mexico without applying for a Mexican visa.
According to the National Immigration Institute of Mexico (INM), foreign nationals may present one of the following documents as an alternative to a Mexican visa:
1. Proof of permanent residence in Canada, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, any Schengen Area country, or a Pacific Alliance member country, namely Chile, Colombia or Peru.
2. A valid visa issued by Canada, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or any Schengen Area country.
3. An APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) approved by Mexico, applicable only for business travel and entry by air.
4. A certificate proving that the traveler is a crew member of the aircraft on which they arrive.
5. A seafarer’s book, if the traveler is a crew member of a vessel arriving at a Mexican port on an international voyage. If the crew member arrives by air to join a vessel in a Mexican port, they must also present documents proving their assignment, as well as details of the vessel and the Mexican port where it is located.
1. Travelers are generally not allowed to stay in Mexico for more than 180 days, unless they hold a residence permit or are undergoing an immigration procedure.
2. Visa and entry policies may change. Please always check the latest official requirements before making travel arrangements.
