XPeng Motors enters the Mexican market

  • 27th March 2026

On March 25, 2026, XPeng Motors released its “Three-Year Strategy for Leading Intelligent Mobility in Latin America,” officially entering the Mexican market and striving to achieve full coverage of the Latin American market by 2028.

XPeng Motors launched its global models G6 and G9 in Mexico. The XPeng G6 starts at MXN 819,900  (approximately RMB 310,000), while the XPeng G9 starts at MXN 1,099,900  (approximately RMB 420,000).

Establishing a presence in Mexico represents a key step in XPeng Motors’ Latin America strategy. As an important market in the region, Mexico’s geographic location positions it as a strategic hub connecting Central and South America. Leveraging its AI technology, XPeng plans to use Mexico as a starting point to build localization capabilities, enhance product and service adaptation, and gradually expand into neighboring Latin American markets.

Currently, XPeng has partnered with three major distributors in Mexico to establish a sales and service network in the three core cities of Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. The first batch of stores is scheduled to open on April 6th local time, and will gradually expand to more regions in the future.

Alex Tang, head of XPeng Motors’ International Development and Service Center, said, “Mexico is a strategic market for XPeng Motors in Latin America and even globally. We are committed to providing excellent products and worry-free service, and building a comprehensive sales and after-sales service network.”

Currently, XPeng Motors has a presence in 60 countries and regions globally, and its overseas charging network has been integrated into 31 countries and regions. Entering the Mexican market marks another significant milestone in XPeng’s globalization strategy. In 2026, XPeng will continue to deepen its presence in the global market, bringing more models to the world stage and allowing more users to experience the joy of Chinese intelligent technology.
