Impro Precision starts new factory in Mexico

  • 12th December 2025
Impro Precision (01286.HK) recently announced that the investment casting factory at its North American production base in Mexico officially commenced operations on November 28 this year. Together with the two already operational factories—the sand casting factory and the precision machined parts factory—the Impro Mexico SLP Park strengthens the group’s global footprint.

Additionally, the final two factories of the first phase, the aerospace components factory and the surface treatment factory, are expected to begin production next year.

Impro Precision, headquartered in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China, is a globally leading manufacturer of high-precision, highly complex, and performance-critical castings and machined parts. Impro Precision’s investment in Mexico began in 2017-2018. To be closer to its core North American customers (in aviation, automotive, energy, etc.), it decided to establish a production base in the state of San Luis Potosí (SLP), Mexico, a region located in the heart of Mexico’s manufacturing belt with a mature supply chain. Starting with initial machining capacity, then progressively adding core casting processes, the company ultimately built an industrial park with three factories by 2025.
