On September 24, 2026, Chinese ceramic machinery manufacturer KEDA announced significant progress in its cooperation with Mexico’s renowned ceramic producer, Grupo Lamosa. More than 600 containers of production equipment have been shipped and are arriving at the factory in Tlaxcala, Mexico, marking the start of on-site construction for this major project.
Signed in 2025, this project marks the first time in Grupo Lamosa’s history that it has partnered with a Chinese ceramic machinery brand to develop a complete production line. It also reflects the growing technological capabilities and comprehensive service expertise of Chinese ceramic equipment manufacturers in the international market.
The production line integrates key stages of ceramic manufacturing, including raw material processing, pressing, glazing, drying, firing, polishing and packaging. It will also feature KEDA’s self-developed CeramiX E digital ceramic manufacturing system, which supports production data analysis, equipment management and energy monitoring, helping the factory move towards more efficient and intelligent operations.
With a designed maximum daily output of 39,000 square meters, the production line is built to support large-scale, continuous manufacturing. Once completed, it is expected to substantially increase Lamosa’s production capacity and operational efficiency, further strengthening its position in the Mexican and wider American ceramic markets.
