Your Accreditation Body for NOM Certification

NYCE, a QIMA company, is a leader Conformity Assessment body accredited and authorized to provide product certification, testing and inspection services for products in the Electrical, Electronics, Energy Efficiency, Lighting, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Chemical and Plastics industries. It assesses compliance with Mexican Official Standards (NOMs), Mexican Standards (NMXs), Technical Provisions and other standards or national and international regulatory documents.

Its comprehensive services boost the competitiveness of manufacturers, importers and distributors by providing them with efficient solutions to demonstrate the conformity of their products with the standards established by the Mexican authorities.

PEO (Previo en Origen) as called in Mexico

Since 2008, QIMA designed the PEO service for the Mexican market, that consists in a pre-shipment inspection designed specifically for Mexican customs regulations, which consists in registering the customs variables and is specifically designed by the appointed customs broker of the end client, Performed by QIMA inspectors at the loading site.

The primary aim is to:

Minimize Port Delays: avoid warehouse fees and ensure swift container release within 48 hours.

Reduced Fines and Delays: proactive identification of non-compliant goods prevents fines and minimizes time-to-market.
