NBHX Trim Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of China-based Ningbo Huaxiang Electronic Co., Ltd. (NBHX), a leading global automotive interior supplier, has inaugurated a new production line at its plant in Aguascalientes, with an investment of over US$23 million. This project establishes the facility as one of the group’s most productive worldwide.
The company, which has operations in the United States, Europe and Asia, chose Aguascalientes as a key point to become a strategic manufacturing center in North America. As part of its growth plan, NBHX seeks to increase its production capacity sevenfold by 2030, with a focus on comprehensive interior systems for high-end and electric vehicles, including dashboards, door panels, metal parts and specialized components.
During the inauguration, Zhou Xiaofeng, President of NBHX, stressed that the decision to expand in Aguascalientes was driven by the region’s skilled talent and an environment of efficiency and certainty. “These elements are part of our economic development strategy,” he said.
The ceremony was attended by Kevin Ma, CEO of NBHX; Armando Avila, President of the Aguascalientes Industrial Cluster; personnel from the Ministry of Economic Development, Science and Technology (SEDECYT), as well as suppliers and strategic allies of the state’s industrial ecosystem.
The State Government emphasized that this expansion reaffirms Aguascalientes’ role as a strategic pole for attracting high-value industrial investments, with a commitment to technological innovation, quality jobs and sustainable development.
