Hwaway Technology says Mexico base will start in 2028

An investor relations activity record disclosed by Shenzhen-listed Hwaway Technology Corporation Limited (Hwaway Technology, 001380) on October 14, 2026 showed that its Germany base has begun operation, its Mexico base is scheduled to start production in 2028, and its Morocco base is scheduled to start production by the end of 2027. According to the company’s prospectus for its convertible bond issuance, the Mexico project is located in Irapuato, Guanajuato, with a total investment of RMB 216 million and a planned annual output of 1.5 million springs and 800,000 stabilizer bars.

According to the company’s website, Hwaway Technology is headquartered in Zhuji, Zhejiang, and develops and manufactures high-end elastic components, mainly suspension and braking system parts for the automotive industry; it has set up 11 production bases across seven locations — Zhejiang, Henan, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Germany, Mexico (under construction) and Morocco (in planning).
