From June 29th to July 3rd, 2023, the 19th Western China International Fair (WCIF) took place in Chengdu, Sichuan. MEXCHAM attended the event with representatives from the Chongqing Chapter, led by Julio Cruz and Jaziel Romero.
The fair spanned an impressive 200,000 square meters, attracting over 3,500 enterprises from 56 countries, including 40 nations along the Belt and Road initiative. The combined online and offline attendance surpassed 60,000 guests and merchants, with an astounding 700,000 visitors exploring the exhibitions.
Excitingly, during the 19th WCIF, initial discussions were initiated to secure representation for Mexican companies through MEXCHAM in future editions of the fair. This opens the way for increased collaboration between Mexico and China in the years to come!
