Last July 21-24, 2022, the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in China (MEXCHAM) leaded a large delegation of over 60 business people and 24 companies attending the Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (“WCIFIT”) and the China Cross-Border E-Commerce Trade Fair (“ICEC”) held in Chongqing. This has been the largest business delegation ever from a Latin American country to have participated in a Trade and Investment Fair in Chongqing.
Worth mentioning that Mexico is, among all Latin American countries, the largest trading partner of Chongqing having bilateral trade of around USD 1,930 Million in 2021.
As part of the activities, the “Mexico-China Investment and Trade Forum” was successfully held.
Jesus Seade, Ambassador from Mexico in China, made the open remarks.
Victor Cadena, Executive Vice President of MEXCHAM, presented the overview of trade and investments between China and Mexico.
In addition, leaders from two Mexican listed companies in the Mexican Stock Marked presented their company’s overview and successful development in China.
