Recap: Weinan Conference for Economic and Trade Cooperation

 

Last January 10, 2023, the China (Weinan) Belt & Road Promotion Conference for Economic and Trade Cooperation was successfully held in hybrid format in Weinan, Shanxi Province and online. The Mexican Chamber of Commerce in China (MEXCHAM) participated represented by Yonanetl Zavala, MEXCHAM’s advisor from Shanghai Chapter.

During her presentation, Ms. Zavala addresses an overview of Mexico-China trade relations and pointed out the opportunities coming in short with the opening of China after the pandemic at the beginning of this 2023, she said “is estimated that after the second half of this year direct passengers flights gradually will be reestablished between China and Mexico, and at MEXCHAM we are excited about that because will foster more business opportunities for everyone”

In addition a Memorandum of Understanding was signed online between MEXCHAM and Weinan Tongguan non-Ferrous Metal Industry Base.
