  • 8th October 2026

On October 2, 2026, China Railway Signal & Communication (CRSC) announced that its international holding subsidiary has won the general EPC contract for low-voltage systems of Mexico’s AIFA–Pachuca railway.

The scope covers the design, supply, installation, commissioning and training of the communications, signaling and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.

The line links Mexico City’s Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) with Pachuca in Hidalgo and is expected to open in 2027. According to the announcement, it will help ease passenger congestion on the capital’s northeastern corridor.
