RECAP: Seminar Investing in Mexico (Hangzhou)

On July 16th, 2024, the Seminar Investing in Mexico was held in Hangzhou. This seminar was organized by UNIDO ITPO Beijing and Hangzhou Xiaoshan Qianjiang Shiji City Management Committee, and co-organized by Hangzhou Xiaoshan District Free Trade Cross-border Association and CTS Freight.

The seminar began with introduction remarks made by Mr. Wu Xueda from UNIDO Hangzhou Accelerator.

Then, MEXCHAM’s VP, Victor Cadena, presented on the opportunities of investment and trade between  Mexico and China through lens of automotive, mining, agricultural and clean energy industries among others.

Afterwards, Assistant President of CTS Freight, An Xiaofeng shared insights on operating in Mexico under the perspective of logistics.

Followed by a representative from Salinas Group, Deng Lei, he shared experiences on Chinese and Mexican commercial cooperation.

Next is the featured sharing: how overseas service providers can help Chinese companies to develop healthily in Mexico. Senior practitioners from various industries shared their experiences, covering finance, logistics, R&D, consulting, technology and so on. Representatives from ICBC Mexico, Jones Lang LaSalle, Sailwin, EqualOcean, and Kingdee shared insights.

Afterwards, three experienced practitioners from industries such as E-commerce enterprise, construction enterprise and logistics supply chain coming from enterprise Alibaba, Colliers International, and SeaWin, shared their insights.

The Seminar ended with free exchanges.
